Rum cocktails
Planter’s Punch
Jamaican rum, lime and sugar with bitters. Dark and punchy.

Ingredients
- 60 ml2 ozJamaican rum
- 22 ml¾ ozFresh lime juice
- 22 ml¾ ozRich demerara syrup (2:1)
- 7 ml¼ ozGrenadine
- 3 dashes3 dashesAngostura bitters
- SplashSplashSoda water
Makes one drink, about 140 ml before ice.
Method
- Add everything except the soda to a shaker. Fill with ice and shake hard for 10 to 12 seconds.
- Strain into a collins glass over crushed ice.
- Top with the soda and give it one gentle stir.
- Garnish: orange slice and cherry.
