Hot Buttered Rum
Dark rum stirred into hot water with a spoon of spiced butter and sugar. Like a warm buttered biscuit.

Ingredients
- 50 ml1⅔ ozDark rum
- 1 heaped tablespoon1 heaped tablespoonSpiced butter (butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove)
- Top upTop upHot water
Makes one drink, about 170 ml before ice.
Method
- Warm the heatproof glass with hot water, then tip it out.
- Pour everything except the hot water into the warm heatproof glass.
- Top with the hot water and give it one gentle stir.
- Garnish: cinnamon stick.
